FAQs

Do I need to be at the property while you clean?
We leave that up to you. Some prefer to leave us a key. We can discuss arrangements on how you'd like us to come and clean.

How many people will clean my property?
We have teams of two including one supervisor. Larger properties may require additional staff and smaller homes may need one cleaning person.

Are you Bonded and Insured? Yes we carry general liability insurance and a surety bond

Is your house cleaning work guaranteed?
We have a 24-hour guarantee if anything is missed or overlooked, call within 24 hours and we will return the next day at no charge

Do you supervise and train your housekeepers?
All Star Maids team members are trained before going out to homes. We also make routine visits to ensure the quality of our work.

Will I always have the same maid service team each time?
We make every effort to have the same team in your home. Occasionally there may be a change in a team member due to illness. The All Star Maids team leader's job is to learn your home and to teach the team members to deliver the quality that you would expect.

What are your fees and how do I pay for services?
Our rates are based on the size and condition of your home or property. We can provide you with an estimate.We ask that payment is due at time of service and you can pay by cash, check or credit cards.

Do I need to provide my own house cleaning products?
All Star Maids will always arrive at your home with cleaning products and equipment. All of our products are environmentally preferable and are safe for small children and pets. Should you need special attention given to any area in your home we welcome you to provide products or specifications as to the treatment of those areas.

We offer a wide range of cleaning services for catering to both residential and corporate clients. Our services are available on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, short, medium and long term arrangements are available depending on your budget and requirements.

Gold star cleaning
This is our comprehensive cleaning designed for the recurring customer on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. You can expect this level of service every visit we make to your home

Dust ceiling fans.
One load of dishes in dishwasher. Up to 20 dishes.
Clean the kitchen counters, sinks, faucets and backsplash.
Clean the outsides of all the appliances, stove top, inside of microwave and top of refrigerator.
Dust all mini-blinds, picture frames, knick-knacks, window sills and bookshelves.
Polish all furniture.
Windex all the mirrors, glass tables and TV screens.
Change sheets (if provided) and make beds for regular clients.
Scrub bottom of all tubs and showers, wipe down tile and shower doors.
Clean bath counters, sinks, and toilet.
Clean and shine faucets and fixtures.
Vacuum all carpets and rugs.
Sweep and mop all floors.
Empty all wastebaskets.

Plantinum cleaning
This service is designed for those who need a deeper or what some call Spring Cleaning. Also for move in or move out cleanings you should refer to this program. This cleaning includes everything on the Gold Star Clean and the following:

Clean one glass storm door.
Dust ceiling fans.
One load of dishes in dishwasher. Up to 20 dishes.
Clean the kitchen counters, sinks, faucets and backsplash.
Clean the outsides of all the appliances, stove top, inside of microwave and top of refrigerator.
Dust all mini-blinds, picture frames, knick-knacks, window sills and bookshelves.
Polish all furniture.
